Kaitlyn Oldford is a second year Marine Biology student at Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada. She hopes to work in the field studying marine biology. Kaitlyn graduated in the class of 2021 from 起点传媒 and we couldn't be prouder of our talented alumni!

My name is Muhammad Shayan Zaidi. I am a Blyth Alumni who graduated in 2024 as valedictorian. I studied at Blyth from Grade 8 to 12, so I am very familiar with the school and its history.

Out of all my years, my senior year was definitely the highlight, for a multitude of reasons. One of them being that the school and the environment it had were maturing over the years. Many major and minor changes affected the school during my stay, leading to some ups and downs, but it built towards an excellent final year. And to finish it all off, the cherry on top was our graduation.

As of now, I am studying as a first-year in Engineering at the University of Calgary in Canada. I also want to progress further into filmmaking and storytelling, so I have been writing a book and planning out short films for quite some time.

Aimen's future plans include "learning from all those around me, noticing the small things and enjoying whatever experiences unfold! (and eventually applying for postgraduate studies)" She is studying at the University of Toronto in Mississauga and is in her 3rd year of the Forensic Science program. Her career goal is to work in Forensic Pathology or Public Health & Policy (or a cross between the two!). 起点传媒 is very proud of it鈥檚 amazing alumni!

Jude El Shaarawi is a 2nd Year in Health Information Science student at the University of Victoria, Canada (she was also accepted into the University of British Columbia!). She hopes to work in the IT Department in the Healthcare Industry. Jude graduated in the class of 2021 from 起点传媒, we wish her all the best with her future goals!

My time at 起点传媒 Qatar was an incredible experience that shaped me both academically and personally. The school provided a supportive environment that helped me balance my studies with my commitments as a member of the national volleyball team. The guidance counselor played a pivotal role in organizing my schedule, ensuring that I could focus on my training and competitions without falling behind academically. What truly stood out was how the school encouraged extracurricular activities and understood the importance of pursuing passions outside the classroom. This balance allowed me to grow as both a student and an athlete, and I will always be grateful for the support and encouragement I received during my time there.

The global environment is welcoming, with students from diverse backgrounds, which makes learning even more exciting. The Canadian curriculum has helped me build a strong foundation, and I feel that I鈥檓 constantly challenged in a positive way. I鈥檝e also really enjoyed the sense of community and the way it makes everyone feel as though they belong, and the leadership opportunities make me feel involved and valued.
